If you would like to support our beautiful Sentier Nepisiguit Mi’gmaq Trail (SNMT) please consider making a donation. Funds received help pay gas expenses for the twenty different teams of volunteers who clean 150 kilometers of fallen trees each spring. They cover costs to maintain our shelters, bridges and parking lots as well as insurance and accounting services. No amount is too small. Please click here to visit our Paypal site (Paypal also permits credit card donations).
The SNMT offers a unique way to donate to the trail by placing a personalized plaque on the frame of our welcome sign at the Daly Point Nature Reserve. The metal plaques measure 4"x 5" (10 cm x 13 cm) and standard features include the trail's turtle logo, a white border and a “forest brown” background. A plaque donation can be of any amount but a minimum has been set at $250.
The plaques can commemorate a loved one, hiking partner or cherished friend. A sample of opening lines:
Feel free, of course, to make your own personal message.
A plaque can also speak of your attachment to the trail, offer encouragement to the volunteers, record your thru-hike or honour a birthday, anniversary, graduation or other special occasion…. yours to imagine!
